This morning, some folk tried to hold a
peaceful demonstration in Harare.
The protest was against Police brutality, Police bias and the break-down of Law and
order.
Police did their predictable bit and broke up the
gathering before it started with hundreds
of riot police in attendance. They chased the
gathering down 1st Street and left into Samora Machel.
Going round the corner they
arrested the first person they came across - an innocent by-stander –
and beat him before loading
him into a Police vehicle.
