Writing de Moi

Choices, choices...This is my old writing page. I'm just leaving it as-is since it's pretty self-explanatory (and nicely explains all the other sections). Enjoy!

Beginnings

I feel like I've written an explanation of this section so many times...*sigh*...Anyway, here you will find quite a few 'shorts' that I wrote whilst feeling low on creativity back in my junior year of high school. To help boost my sagging creativity, I wrote one beginning every day. They are each only one page long (unless otherwise specified) and are thus merely the first page to a story. There is no middle or end to these things, just the beginning. Hopefully that made some sense. If not, there's another explanation on the page itself.

Hamlet - A Comedy

This I wrote half as a joke and half for a writing contest. I don't remember if I was ever really serious about winning the thing, but I wrote this anyway. As the title suggestions, this is Shakespeare's best play ever, Hamlet, transformed into a novel and a comedy. All tradgedies end in death, all comedies end in marriage.

An Airport Adventure

Written whilst having travel woes at Bradley Airport in Connecticut. I was just trying to get to Pittsburgh! Darn planes...

Alnatis

I am so proud of this piece. I have been quite unable to write anything remotely resembling a good story since this one and so this adds to my adoration of it. It is a fantasy story of about 60 pages typed (you have been forwarned) but I intend to break it up into manageable bits for the sake of this site. I might even add illustrations. : )

Unfinished Works

So many. These, unlike Beginnings, are longer pieces (normally no longer than 10 pages each) that I just never went back to or finished. Most of these come from the post-Alnatis period. They aren't too bad, I just couldn't think where they were going at the time apparently. They are primarily fantasy works since I like to write those best.

Textbooks

Call me what you may, but I like to draw maps and then write an accompanying textbook for them. These textbooks sometimes have everything all in one and other times merely discuss geography. My largest one has different books for the different things (geography, government, religion, etc).

Random Story

This is, as the title suggests, a random story. I have, however, taken the time to illustrate each chapter beginning and I hope to get the involvement of others going so it should be fun. And, of course, get increasingly random.
