HISTORICAL NOTES

  • The majority of 1969 Corvettes, 59.2 percent, came with power steering
  • 78.4 percent had four-speed manual trans­missions
  • one-in-four had power windows
  • A 350-cid 300-hp V-8 was available this season
  • Cars with this powerplant and automatic transmission were capable of 0-to-60 mph speeds in the 8.4 second bracket and could move from 0-to-6O mph in approximately 21.7 seconds.
